Year

2024

    • EXCELLENCE Award by QCFI in the National Convention on Quality Concepts 2024

      Received for continuous improvement initiatives undertaken for airport operations at NCQC 2023, which was presided by Mr. Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India in January 2024.

    • Zero Waste to Landfill (ZWL) Recognition by CII-IT

      Received in May 2024, making Thiruvananthapuram the first Indian airport to be awarded this prestigious recognition. The ZWL assessment verified implemented by the airport has implemented the best waste management practices and achieved a 99.50 percent diversion of waste from landfill.

    • Gold Award in Green Leaf Category, Apex Foundation National Award for Environment Protection

      The award was presented by Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) officials at a ceremony held in New Delhi in May 2024.

    • Pollution Control Waste Recycling Excellence Award by Greentech Foundation

      Awarded for excellence in zero waste to landfill initiatives. The award was presented by GPCB officials at a ceremony held in Guwahati in July 2024.

    • Gold Award by Quality Circle Forum of India at CCQC

      Received in Bhilai in October 2024 for the continuous improvement initiatives undertaken for airport operations at CCQC 2024.

2023

    • Emission Reduction Award

      Received for outstanding performance in GHG emission reduction initiatives undertaken. The award was presented by Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal at a ceremony held in Sonmarg in November 2023.

2022

    • 12th Exceed Environment Award (Waste Management – Silver)

      Received with the support of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. The Union Minister of State, Ministry of Science and Technology, Dr. Jitendra Singh presented the prestigious award at a function held in Jammu in August 2022.
